Hi Friends!

My name is Marlene. I was born and raised in New Jersey and it’s true what they say; you can take the girl out of New Jersey, but you can’t take New Jersey out of the girl! Haha!

Anyways…

I am an Interior Designer and have worked in NJ, NY, TN, MN, IL, GA and CA. For 6 years, I worked with HGTV’s Property Brothers on multiple shows - Celebrity IOU, Forever Home & Buying & Selling. I have also worked on HGTV’s The Great Giveback with Melissa McCarthy & Jenna Perusich and Making it Home with Kortney & Dave (Canada only). I also had the pleasure of working for the Magnolia Network (but shh, that project is top secret, I’ll let you know when it comes to be). I’ve dabbled in the commercial and music video world as well, but reality TV is where I thrive. And let’s not forget all the general contractors I have worked with. I love construction - it’s my favorite part of the design process.

I am a traveler! I took my first flight at the age of 2 and I’ve never stopped. Every other year I take a trip to Portugal. I have so much family there and it is so beautiful so I try my hardest to make it out there as often as possible. When traveling I like to live amongst the locals. I enjoy the touristy things too, but really immersing myself in different cultures is what I love. I went to Brazil once with a couple of Brazilian girlfriends during Carnaval. What an amazing time that was!

I’m architecture obsessed and have a huge list of architectural masterpieces I need to visit. I’ll keep you posted as I cross them off my list!
